Aims of the Owl and Pussycat Children’s Nursery

·       To work in partnership with other agencies and local nurseries within the community.

·       To work in partnership with parents/carers, encouraging parental/carer involvement throughout the nursery.

·       To provide a safe and stimulating environment where all children feel secure, safe, valued, respected and confident.

·       To continually update staff development through training programs and appraisals.

·       The nursery has an on going policy of self –evaluation to continually improve the nursery.

·       Each room works with the relevant early year’s curriculum either the Birth to Three Framework or the Curriculum for Excellence which builds on each individual Childs previous experience to enhance their future learning and development.

·       We operate on a basis of equality and inclusion for all children, parents/carers and staff.
